I attended graduate school at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. During the last 25 years I have provided therapy to families dealing with Child Abuse and Neglect issues, assisted victims of Domestic Violence, worked in the school system with at-risk children, and with Military Trauma Victims. I’ve taught Empathy Training, Anger Management, Parenting Support, and the S.M.I.L.E. program for Families experiencing divorce.
I have a strong professional background in childhood and adult trauma, PTSD, and re-current depression. I am well trained in many different approaches to therapy such as: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused, Person Centered, Humanistic, Psycho Dynamic, and Evidence Based Therapy (EBT). All of these experiences allow me the ability to start wherever you are in life and assist you in navigating your way through.
